Bowtech Reckoning

The Reckoning compound bow has been introduced for the 2019 season and is presented as a crossover bow that will perform the role as a target/3D bow or as a long framed hunting bow. The company has emphasised the fact that the bow’s primary purpose is to not only provide accuracy but to provide ‘reliable accuracy’.

The bow is the first bow to feature the Deadlock Cam Drive technology which is an evolution of the OverDrive Binary Cam system. It features a patented adjustment system can be adjusted with the turn of a screw to direct the strings down the ideal path.

It also features a Deadlock Pocket which enables the entire bow structure to be locked down solidly to eliminate unnecessary movement which would affect accuracy. Bowtech Realm SR6

The Realm series of bows has been part of the Bowtech line-up since 2018 and the SR6 has been added for the 2019 season. The “SR” in SR6 stands for Speed Redefined and this refers to the advertised IBO/ATA speed of 352 fps that is achieved with a very smooth draw cycle.

The finished product comes after Bowtech put it through an extensive testing process where fine tuning was done to deal with vibration and sound as much as possible. The result is a smooth draw that comes from the weighted Overdrive binary cam system.

Features of the bow include the new Clutch Performance Grip which is a modular, flat design with different angle options to ensure consistent hand placement and reduce torque. The riser is stiffer than previous year’s models with the top and bottom flaring out with wider braced sections.

As with previous year’s bows the Powershift Technology Flip Disc and Micro Sync Dial are present to give a customisable draw cycle that also makes tuning far easier. CPX technology helps with limb efficiency, CP Dual Lock system helps with precision and stability by locking the limb pockets and the FLX Guard cable containment system eliminates riser torque.

The bow is available in Black and Brown Country Roots finishes as standard or, at a slightly higher cost, in Flat Dark Earth, Mossy Oak Breakup Country, Kryptek Altitude and Gore Optifade Subalpine.
