The Gearhead Archery compound bows look a little different to what might be considered a traditional compound bow but they are certainly up there among the most devastatingly accurate and powerful on the market. They feature a design that is the result of some serious innovation that is proving significant in stripping off weight while losing nothing in strength and dead in the hand shootability.

The range of bows that have been released for the 2019 season include some of the most compact bows available and are classed into 2 series: the new adjustable B Series bows that now stand side-by-side with the non-adjustable T Series.

Take a look at the entire range of compound bows from Gearhead Archery.

B-Series

The range of B-Series bows have been introduced for the 2019 series and they represent a new step forward in the evolution of the company. The B-Series range consists of 6 new bows that differ from the original T-Series range by the fact that they can be adjusted to customize them to their owner.

The new B-Series consists of the B20, B24, B30, B34, B36 and B40 compound bows where the number following the B is the axle to axle distance of each model.

Gearhead B30

The B30 compound bow has an axle to axle size of 30.5 inches. According to the company the bow is a good mid-sized bow that would be ideal for hunting or target shooting.

As with all bows in the B-Series range the bow has a brace height range where it can be adjusted to be 5”, 6”or 7”. The cam system is the Rotational Adjustment cam system for 4 inches of draw length adjustment and the Zero Gap limb pockets allow for 10 pounds of draw weight adjustment.

The bow’s Slider Grip allows the grip to be moved forward by 0.5” and back by 1.25” in 0.25” increments. The Slider Grip is available in one of three options: Standard, Flatback and 1911 with the 1911 being the standard grip for this model.

The bow has a black hard coat anodized finish and has been released with an MSRP of $1299.00.

Gearhead B24

The B24 is the second of the compact hunting bows, joining the B20, to be released as a part of the super-adjustable B-Series bows. As the name implies it measures around 24 inches from axle to axle, a bow length that is very rare indeed. It is ideal for use from a stand or from within the blind.

The RA (Rotational Adjustment) Cam system provides for a draw length range of 25.5 to 32 inches which gives the shooter a full sized bow performance. The IBO rating is 350 fps which makes it a seriously fast bow.

The adjustable nature of the bow extends to the standard Slider Grip which can be repositioned as needed and this results in the possibility of an adjustable brace height which ranges from 5 inches to 6.75 inches.

The bow is available with a black hard coat anodize finish and has been given an MSRP of $1199.00.

T-Series

The T-Series of bows, when they were first released, were built as non-adjustable compound bows. You can have them designed and built to the customer's draw weight and draw length specifications.

Changes made to the range for the new season are largely centered around the fact that the bows have more places built into their frames where external accessories can be mounted.

Browse through all of the bows that comprise the complete Gearhead T-Series range below.

Gearhead T24 Aluminum

The T24 compound bow returns for the 2019 season and it remains an extremely compact compound bow that looks radical but shoots arrows like a conventional compound bow.

The bow’s riser is constructed of twin panels of 7075 grade aluminum and has an aluminum grip. It measures 24.5 inches from axle to axle and the draw length adjustment ranges from 25 – 30 inches. The aluminum material in the construction leaves the bow weighing 3.6 lbs and the brace height measures 6.5 inches in length.

The purpose of the bow’s dual plate riser configuration is to create a kind of cage that eliminates flex and vibration during the shot. The bow is powered by a unique two-track cam system consisting of two symmetric take-up eccentrics that takes you through a high peak before dropping into significant let-off deep in the draw cycle. The result is the ability to generate speeds up to 325 fps.

The bow is available in a black hard coat anodized finish and has been released with an MSRP of $749.00.

Gearhead T24 Carbon Fiber

As with the version of the T24 with the aluminum riser, the carbon fiber version provides the hunter with an amazingly compact and deadly bow.

The difference with this model is that the riser is constructed of twin panels of quasi-isotropic carbon sheet and 36 layers of cross-pattern weave fiber. This creates the stiffness necessary for creating significant speed but it reduces the weight of the bow significantly.

The bow is available in a black hard coat anodized finish and has been released with an MSRP of $749.00.

Gearhead T20

The T20 compound bow returns and it continues to be a neat, compact bow that is ideal for a backpack hunt or for taking to tight spots such as the blind. It measures only 20.5 inches axle to axle but has proven to be a hunting bow of superior quality.

The bow is smooth to draw and shoots dead in the hand. The bow is available with either the aluminum or carbon fiber riser with the difference largely in the overall weight of the bow (aluminum = 3.2 lbs, carbon fiber = 2.8 lbs).

The bow is available in a black hard coat anodized finish and has been released with an MSRP of $729.00.

Gearhead T18

The T18 is the shortest compound bow in the world measuring a mere 18.5 inches axle to axle, yet it performs like a traditional hunting bow.

The T18 is available with a riser made either from 7075 grade aluminum or 32 layers of quasi-isotropic carbon fiber. The bow converts from left to right handed quickly and easily without the need for a bow press.

This is a bow that is designed for its portability and agility but the thing is that thanks to the twin riser plates, it is both stiff and quiet. This translates into outstanding accuracy in a bow that definitely looks different to the traditional compound bow.

It is powered by a twin-track cam system and the draw length is non-adjustable with the custom set-up tailored to the individual shooter.

The bow is available in a black hard coat anodized finish and has been released with an MSRP of $699.00.

The results cannot be denied though. Shooters who have tried the bows out (both the B-Series and the T-Series) have had high praise for them.
