The 2019 season has seen the introduction of a couple of new bow designs by Martin Archery. The ADIX and ANAX platforms with the former designed for the hunters and the later for the target archery enthusiasts. The bows have been released in a range of different configurations for each of the models and they are both particularly adjustable to provide their owners with plenty of options.

The MAX series of bows have also been released as a way to cater for all types of archers through a series of bows. The MAX stands for Martin Archery Xtreme and the bows are available in 3 different frame sizes.

Martin MAXX 33

The Maxx 33 compound bow is a hunting bow with an axle-to-axle measuring 33.5 inches in length. It is powered by the Helix Cams which give you the option of setting it up in either a Long Draw (27-30”) or Short Draw (24-27”) configuration.

The bow features the company’s Tri Loc System which is distinguished by: a Tri Loc Axle Cap which allows calibrated cam system clearance; a Tri Loc Roto Cup which allows set screws to lock into the riser, and; a Tri Loc Limb Pocket which bolts to the limbs to create a perfect lock.

The bow can be custom tuned using the RRAD Balanced Bow Technology and RRAD Weight Distribution System to give you the ability to distribute the weight throughout the riser to suit your personal preferences.

It has been reported that the bow is very easy to tune thanks to the RRAD system which helps to find the right balance with the bow. It is highly adjustable to suit the individual and is a solid shooter with an IBO rating of 333fps.

Martin MAXX 32

The Maxx 32 compound bow has been updated for the 2019 season. It remains the mid-sized bow in the Maxx range with an axle-to-axle measurement of 32.75”. The Helix Cam system provides the option of either the Long Draw range of 28-31” or the Short Draw range of 25-28”.

As with the other bows in the Maxx range it features the Tri Loc System as well as the RRAD Riser Weight Distribution system.

The bow is more forgiving than the Maxx 33 with a brace height of 7.25” and it suits shooters who require a slightly longer draw length.

Martin MAXX 31

The Maxx 31 compound bow is the smallest in the Maxx range but it keeps pace with the larger versions in terms of speed and shooting power. It has an axle-to-axle measurement of 31.875”. It is powered by the Helix Cam system and has the option of either the Long Draw (26.5” – 29.5”) or the Short Draw (23.5” – 26.5”).

As with the other bows in the Maxx range it features the Tri Loc System as well as the RRAD Riser Weight Distribution system.

Martin Adix 28

The Adix series of bows is new for the 2019 season and marks a new range of hunting bows to consider. The Adix 28 is the smallest in the range measuring a compact 28” from axle to axle.

The bow is powered by the Hyrbyx cam system with a Helix Groove in the lower cam. It also uses a mass distribution system that allows you to choose where in the cam to place a weight to help when tuning.

The purpose of the Hybryx Groove is to remove cam lean and it does this by displacing and transferring load across the cam.

The bow features the Tri Loc System and the RRAD Weight Distribution System that is used in the Maxx range examined above.

The shorter stature of the bow makes it an ideal choice for stands and ground blinds. It has a draw length range of 25 – 30” and the draw weight options ensure that it packs a solid punch.

Martin Adix 30

The Adix 30 compound bow is the mid-sized hunting bow in the new Adix range with an axle-to-axle measurement of 30 inches. It has a shorter brace height at 6-3/8” and this gives it a faster speed at 341 fps.

Martin Adix 30+

Although the Adix is designed as a short and compact hunting bow it is also available in a long draw option. In this case the length of the bow from axle to axle is advertised simply as over 30. It caters to hunters looking for a draw length from 27 to 32 inches in length.

Not only does the bow have a longer brace height that measures 7.5”, it is also capable of a higher top end speed at 350 fps.

Martin Axxon 36

The Axxon compound bow range is the company’s target bow range and the Axxon 36 is the shortest length bow measuring 36.5 inches.

Just as with the other bows already discussed above, the bow uses the Tri Loc System to maximize the bow’s performance. It also uses the RRAD System that enables weight to be distributed along the riser for greater balance and performance.

Also included in the Axxon is Balanced Bow Technology to enable better grip position and superior weight distribution as well as Dual Synch Technology for a smooth draw.

Martin Anax 3D

The Anax 3D is another target compound bow that has been designed particularly for use on the 3D course.

The bow provides the opportunity to get perfect tuning through the Pivoting Shoe system that enables adjustment to be made to the poundage in increments of five.

The Helix Cams give the option of the long draw length range (28 – 31”) or short draw length (25 – 28”). It uses Dual Sync Cam Technology with String Stop so that it can be fine tuned.

Other features that are found on the rest of the Martin range includes the Tri Loc System and the RRAD Balanced Bow Technology.

Martin Rev

The Rev is an entry level compound bow and is a shorter framed hunting bow that has also been designed to be more forgiving and smoother in the hand. It measures 31” from axle to axle and has a brace height of 7.5”.

The bow is powered by the REV Cams and offers a draw length that ranges from 20 to 30 inches and the adjustment can be made very easily without the need of a bow press.

Martin Carbon Vyzion

The Carbon Vyzion compound bow has been released for the 2019 season as a contender for the best short draw compound bow on the market. Certainly it is one of the lightest weighing in at only 3.3 lbs.

The bow has been created to offer the short draw shooter the smoothest possible drawing bow with a the SD option of the cam system offering a draw length range of 24 – 27 inches or the LD option with a draw range of 27 – 30 inches.

It has a new NoPress Adjuster Limb Weight System that enables adjustment to be made press-free while also giving you the greatest level of adjustment range.

The rounded grip has been included to offer greater comfort as it will fit perfectly in the hand.

Martin Carbon Vixyn

The Carbon Vixyn is the other part of the Carbon series which has been designed to provide short draw hunters with the lightest possible short draw bow. The bow has a weight of only 3.3 lbs. This is the bow that has been specifically designed to target the female hunters.

It is powered by the Helix Cam System for a smooth draw and a draw length range of 24 – 27 inches.

Martin Kraken

The Kraken has been included in the 2019 line-up as the bowfishing bow that will suit all fishing scenarios with the included bow fishing kit.
