The bows that make up Obsession’s range have consistently displayed high quality performance on the back of some interesting technological innovations. This year is no different with the FX Riser providing a stiff platform around which the bows have been built.

The result is a selection of hunting and competition bows that demonstrate some pretty serious speeds. On top of that is the OB TRAX Cam that allows for up to 90% let-off to enable the hunter to draw and hold without becoming overly fatigued.

Take a look at the complete range of Obsession bows that have been released for the 2019 season and are examined below. To find out more about the company and to view all of their products you can also visit the Obsession Bows website.

Obsession FX30

The FX30 has been introduced for the 2019 and it is a design that has been created with the stand and hunting blind in mind. It measures 30 inches from axle to axle and is shorter and lighter than the majority of Obsession bows.

The FX Riser is the platform around which the FX30 is built and the stiff riser design is responsible for reduced flex and greater accuracy and performance.

The bow is powered by the OB TRAX Cam which offers a draw length range from 24.5 to 30 inches in half inch increments. It also provides the shooter with let-off up to 85% making it particularly comfortable to draw and hold. The top end speed is impressive at 360 fps.

Other features that have been included with the bow are an Axion Limb Dampener, a Torqueless Angled Cable Rod and an adjustable string suppressor rod. It has a conveniently located rear stabilizer mount and a Torqueless Custom Grip.

The bow is available in a side range of camo options such as Realtree Edge, Kryptek Typhon, Mossy Oak Mountain Country, Last Leaf Redemption and more or colors such as Black, Orange, Blue, Purple among others. It is released by the company with an MSRP of $999.00.

Obsession FX6

The new FX6 compound bow has been designed to perform as a strong and mobile hunting bow and demonstrates the benefits of a stiff riser and well-designed cam system.

The name of the bow explains that it is built around the FX Riser design, a stiff riser that provides greater stability through the draw cycle. This is combined with the new Obsession TRAX Cam which provides plenty of speed with the highest possible let-off - at 90%  - available. The brace height measures 6 inches.

The draw length ranges from 25 to 30.5 inches and can be adjusted in half-inch increments. The size of the bow itself will suit the majority of hunters, measuring 32.75”.

Other features of the bow include an Axion Limb Dampener, Torqueless Angled Cable Rod, Rear Stabilizer Mount, Adjustable String Suppressor Rod and FX Limb Pocket.

The bow has been made available in a vast array of color and pattern combinations and has been released with an MSRP of $999.00.

Obsession FX7

As with the FX6, the new FX7 compound bow offers another strong hunting bow but has included a little more forgiveness with a 7 inch brace height.

The bow is also built around the stiffness of the FX Riser design and uses the TRAX Cam system. This combination adds up to an IBO rating of up to 350 fps. When you consider that this is on the back of the 7 inch brace height it amounts to an extremely fast bow that is also inherently accurate.

The draw length ranges from 26 inches to 31.5 inches and can be adjusted in half inch increments. It has let off of 90% which makes it very comfortable to draw and hold. Certainly a feature that will keep hunters feeling fresher for longer.

Obsession FXL

The point of difference of the new FXL compound bow lies in the frame of the bow which is longer than the previous FX Riser-based bows. In this case the bow measures 34.5 inches from axle to axle which adds a little more stability to the rig.

This bow has been created to provide hunters with the “Jack of all trades” bow that will provide close quarters comfort, tree stand shooting or the ability to compete on the 3D range.

The reliable platform of the stiff FX Riser gives the bow the stability it needs for great accuracy and when that is combined with the TRAX Cam it also boasts a great deal of power. The brace height neatly sits between the FX6 and the FX7 at 6.5 inches and the let off is just as high at 90%. It has a draw length range that matches the FX7, which is 26 - 31.5 inches.

The bow has an IBO rating of 350 fps maintaining the high speed of the other FX bows.

Other features of the bow include an Axion Limb Dampener, Torqueless Angled Cable Rod, Rear Stabilizer Mount, Adjustable String Suppressor Rod and FX Limb Pocket. The bow is also outfitted with America’s Best Bow Strings.

The bow has been made available in a vast array of color and pattern combinations and has been released with an MSRP of $999.00.
