The Bear Threat compound bow is a lightweight bow, designed for the everyday hunter who want the heavy hitting features, without having to empty their pockets. This powerful bow is perfect for any archer, who wishes to receive the most comfortable features, for the lowest cost.

The Threat uses an ES Hybrid Cam System to deliver high speeds and maximum efficiency, while still feeling comfortable. This cam enables a 7 inch draw length range starting at 25 inches and going to 30 inches. The peak draw weights of this bow are 50 to 60 pounds and 60 to 70 pounds.

Th limbs are Bear Flared Quads. These limbs have already proven to generate significant power and extreme durability in the past. These are locked tight together with the zero tolerance limb pockets for great precision.

Noise and vibration issues are treated by the top and bottom string suppressors.

The bow also comes in a number of finishes with the most popular finishes being RealTree Xtra Green camo as well as shadow black, sand, olive and orange.

The price of this bow ranges from $499.99 for the bow alone, to $599.99 for the RTH 70 RH Bow package. The package includes a Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit, Trophy Ridge 4 Pin Sight, Trophy Ridge Stabilizer & Sling, Trophy Ridge 5 Arrow Quiver, Peep Sight and Nock Loop

What they are saying in the forums about the Bear Threat

I stepped up from a Mathews SQ2 last year to a Threat with the ready to hunt kit from trophy ridge. I love it, it has been simple to tune and sight in. I love being able to adjust the draw length myself. I did have some string stretch after shooting it a lot this summer and had the cams slightly out of time.
