Darton Vegas 3D

The Vegas 3D has retained the same Vegas platform that helps make it a particularly well balanced bow. It has had a small change with the limb length being shortened but this just means it has picked up extra power.

The bow features the distinctive shoot through riser that assists in shot control and stability. It is powered by the DualSynch Cam System and this is coupled with Darton’s Quad Limb design for added smoothness.

The bow is almost 37 inches from axle-to-axle but it has a draw length range that will be appreciated for the short draw shooters. The brace height has also been shortened when compared to the Vegas-T and this contributes to the greater speed.

The bow is available with 65% or 80% draw length modules and this makes it far easier to hold over and make shots later in the competition.

The bow is available in purple, white, black, red or blue finishes and the MSRP is $1,364.96.

Darton Tempest e-3D

The Tempest e-T that has been described above has been used as the model around which to base this new compound bow model designed specifically for 3D shooting.

With this particular model the length of the limbs is shorter and this has the effect of giving the bow a shorter brace height and a larger power stroke. The bow has a top end speed of 325 fps when the draw length has been adjusted out to its maximum of 30 inches.

The bow dimensions measure 36 inches from axle to axle to provide a solid base around which to shoot. This, along with the shorter brace height means the bow is capable of producing a high degree of stored energy. This is a performance bow and the specifications suggest that it is suited to the shorter draw archer.

The bow is available in Kryptek Highlander, Kryptek Typhon, OD Green, Shadow Black, Red, Purple, White or Blue finishes. It has been released with an MSRP of $1039.96.

Darton Spectra e

The Spectra e returns for the 2019 season after proving to be a popular bow the previous year. The significance of the “e” in the name refers to the Equalizer cable system that has been created for this and other bows in the range.

The Equalizer technology consists of a split yoke system that anchors on the axles, outside of the limbs and this reduces the load on the cam bearings to stabilize the limbs.

The bow is designed to provide a balanced shooting system making it a very good shooting experience. It has adjustable draw modules and a positive limb stop so that the draw length can be controlled by the shooter.

With a brace height of only 6 inches and a maximum of 85% let-off, this is a bow that can be held over without placing too much strain on the shooter before unleashing at up to 335 fps.

The bow is available in Kryptek Highlander, Kryptek Typhon, OD Green, Shadow Black, Red, White or Blue finishes. It has been released with an MSRP of $997.97

Darton Maverick-XT

The Darton Maverick XT continues the impressive heritage that the Maverick model has grown for Darton over the years. It boasts the features of the DS-3800 and, as a former company flagship bow, it is both fast and smooth to draw and shoot.

The bow is powered by the DualSynch cam system which allows for draw weight adjustment with a peak weight range of up to 10 pounds. The daw length can be adjusted without the need for a bow press and has a range from25 to 30.5 inches.

This bow remains one of the best possible hunting bows being sold and has been a popular model for a number of years now.
