Still considered one of the best and most reliable bipod manufacturers around, Atlas Bipods are solidly built, reasonably lightweight and versatile enough to cater for just about every shooter’s needs.
The BT46-LW17 is no exception and is built from durable T6061 aluminum with stainless steel springs and fasteners. They have a height range from 4.75” to 9.0” on legs that can be adjusted to any one of 5 positions that are ¾” apart. The adjustment is made by hand with the outer leg sliding on the inner leg.
The legs can be positioned at one of 4 different configurations. They can be stowed completely back, at 90 degrees straight down, 45 degrees forward or completely forward. The two angled positions allow you to load the bipod as you set up for your shot.
The bipod also provides for up to 15 degrees of pan and cant to either side of the center. Both pan and cant can be locked when you’re happy with the position by using the knurled knob that is easy to use.
Attaching the bipod can be done using the Picatinny Rail Mount and is made an even simpler process with the ADM-170 lever mount.

The Heavy Duty XDS bipod has been specifically built so that it will meet demanding military requirements. Constructed from aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and finished with Type III a hard coat anodized non-reflective matte black combat finish, it is ideal for use with heavy rifles such as the M14, M1A and AR-30.
It has legs that will adjust from 8” to 10.5” in height and can be altered to heights in between so that any shooting position can be attained.
