The Hoyt Carbon Spyder ZT 30 compound bow revisits the features and capabilities of the previous season’s Carbon Spyder release and adds a Zero Torque Cable Guide. The outstanding benefits that come with the carbon riser, which Hoyt has a lot of experience with over the years, strength coupled with light weight, is paired up with the compact frame of the 30 inch axle to axle bow.
The bow has been fitted with the Z5 cam system again, the same cam system that was used in the previous season’s Carbon Spyder bows. The Z5 cam system provides a smooth draw cycle for better performance. The bow is a little more forgiving than previously with a slightly longer brace height of 6.75 inches.
The limbs of the Carbon Spyder 30 continue to be the five layered laminated limbs that ensure the most powerful possible. The limbs are pre-stressed and contoured and this gives them strength through the entire limb rather than just in the stress points. These split beyond parallel limbs are complemented by the Pro-Lock limb pockets which is a zero tolerance system which finds them firmly locked into place.
The bow offers a great many options when it comes to the draw weight ranges from 30-80 pounds giving you 50 pounds of adjustability. Limb dampening functionality is maintained with the AirShox Limb Dampening System in place once again to remove noise and vibration.
It is still the riser that holds the interest and the Helical Flex Tune Carbon riser adds stiffness to the bow through its core. It means the repeatability of the bow is far greater and vibration is deadened to the point where it is virtually non-existent. The hollow carbon tubes that comprise the riser means that there are incredible weight savings without losing any strength.
The point of difference of the Carbon Spyder ZT over the previous models is the inclusion of the Zero Torque Cable Guard System which is added to neutralize unwanted torque. This is a unique system that will improve accuracy and consistency.
The bow has been made available in a range of different finishes including Realtree Xtra, Realtree Max-1, Black Out, American Heritage, Realtree Snow and Realtree Pink.

What they are saying in the forums about the Hoyt Carbon Spyder ZT 30
This bow is lightweight, compact in design, and has an easy drawing cam system producing decent speed numbers with a forgiving brace height. Price tag aside, this bow is a winner.
The '15 Carbon Spyder ZT30 is basically a '14 Carbon Spyder with the only difference being the addition of the ZT cable guard. I have a '14 CST and am in possession of a '15 ZT30, they shoot exactly the same. The Z5 cam system is still the favorite of many Hoyt fans(including myself).
